The unique features of this project are that both wet and dry systems are used throughout the building. Tyco DS-3 dry barrel extended coverage horizontal sidewall sprinklers listed for use in ordinary hazard occupancies were used to protect an unheated dryer room in an area in which providing protection using the dry system was impractical. Pipe stands were utilized to support dry system piping in areas where installing more common hangers such as concrete anchors was impractical. ASC seismic bracing was utilized to provide horizontal support for the piping throughout the building.
