For this project we utilized a variety of Viking sprinklers to protect various areas of the building. Some to note were the use of EC Pendant HSW to minimize the total number of sprinklers needed, as well as vertical sidewalls to protect exposed to structure classrooms they were requested to have minimal exposed piping above. Another feature of this building was wraparound porches that required protection from dry HSW connected to our wet system. Lastly, the building’s architectural features offered a lot of spaces where the second floor was opened to first floor which took a little extra consideration to ensure we provide complete and appropriate coverage.
