Choctaw Central Campus

Description

Philadelphia, MS

This project encompassed four fully sprinklered buildings, all with differing design methodologies. The Academic building utilized gridded systems to reduce the hydraulic demand and pipe sizes required. The Arena, on the other hand, utilized looped systems as a means of supplying water to sprinkler heads. On all four buildings, the Victaulic IGS grooved system was utilized for arm-overs, sprigs, and drops in conjunction with the Victaulic AH2-CC flexible sprinkler drop. The project also required special hanger spacing with hangers being located a maximum of 12′-0″ apart regardless of pipe size.
