Pinnacle Prairie is a large wood framed assisted living facility that consists of a one-story community space, a one-story memory care wing, and a three-story residence wing. The automatic fire sprinkler system consists of 8 zones; 5 wet zones to protect the occupied space, and 3 dry zones to protect the combustible concealed attic spaces. A combination of schedule 10 and 40 steel piping as well as CPVC were used. The wet zones for the three-story residence wing are fed from a combined standpipe system while the rest of the zones are located in the fire pump room.
