This private residence was large enough that local jurisdiction required it to be designed to NFPA 13. The high-pitched ceilings with decorative beam work required special consideration for sprinkler placement. Use of 2 antifreeze systems for the upper level was also required due the ceiling design and no warm attic space availability.
