Blue Ox Expansion

Description

Pender, NE

Driven Fire Consultants prepared the engineered fire protection plans and specifications for the architect designing this powder coating facility. The project consisted of a new powder coating, assembly, and storage facility as well as an existing machine shop. There was a limited municipal water supply at this location and the owner wanted to avoid a fire water storage tank. By working with the owner and architect, storage heights were limited to maximize the available municipal water supply with the use of a fire pump. Determining the system requirements helped fire protection contractors prepare accurate bids with limited questions.
