Palomar MOB 3 is a three story office “shell” building. The automatic fire sprinkler system was designed with a fire pump, three zones with zone controls at each level in the stairway, and seismic bracing. This building was provided with “shell” coverage for future medical office space. This building was similar to another building that was designed and approved in the area by a different designer. The design file from the previous building was used in order to insure all the requirements and contractor preferences were met for a speedy approval.
